Learning from Failure
Failing sucks. But let me ask you this… do you learn more from your mistakes/failures or from your successes? Failure is a beautiful thing, there is truly fortune found in failing. So much of being successful at sales is your mindset. You first have to look yourself in the mirror and own what you aren’t good at in your sales conversations. For some, it’s organization. For others, it’s having a strategy for follow-up and customer retention. It could be lack of impactful messaging or not knowing your audience. There are dozens of “F” words. What is important is that you face them, own them and get the coaching in how to change them!
I have spent over a decade refining a new philosophy and process to sales. It isn’t about convincing, overcoming objections and closing. Not anymore. Sales is about serving. It’s about having real conversations and implementing strategies to guide your prospect from one conversation to the next. People want to feel that they matter. They want to have a relationship and be valued.
What this means for you
There is a better way and I will show you. You can stop hiding and not asking for what you need because of fear of being pushy or salesy. You will have realistic and practical strategies that are easy to follow and implement. You will become more efficient and effective. From networking to retaining existing customers you will have steps, processes and coaching to become systematic. You will have executable sales goals that are based on the people you want to impact, not just numbers. You will become comfortable and confident and have love (sometimes tough love), support and accountability along the way.
So where do you start?
No matter where you are in your sales journey, there is a solution for you here. You can learn the basics through the book, Fortune is in the Failure, be a part of a community for training and support in The Convo Club or get focused sales and accountability coaching one-on-one with me. It doesn’t matter what you choose or where you start, I have your back, always.

Katie Myers, CEO
This company was born out of my own personal and professional experiences. Throughout my life I have loved and lost in relationships. It didn’t matter if they were personal or professional relationships. The ones that came to an end or were tumultuous came down to two things: either a lack of appreciation or the lack of communication. I have taken that lesson and proudly applied it to the philosophies of my company. I truly believe that if we look at our business relationships in the same light as how we look at our personal ones, we can change the world.
I spent 6 years in the insurance industry, post-graduating with a degree in teaching high school history. Teaching has always been a passion that courses through me and teaching others how to communicate, show appreciation and nurture their business relationships is exactly where that passion comes to fruition. I have managed dozens of business professionals, presented and taught hundreds on the strategies, skills and systems to establish, nurture and create long-lasting relationships.
I am madly in love with my husband Henry, I adore how close I am with my family and cherish the time I get with my closest friends. To me, there is nothing like a cold, stiff old-fashioned, uncontrollable laughter and the company of those I love. I am Colorado born and raised, yep, that means I’m a native baby. So bring on the craft cocktails, breweries and dog parks. This girl isn’t going anywhere!
I couple my passion for teaching with a passion for animals. Once we get to know each other a bit more, you will quickly find that many of the philosophy’s that I teach come from my observance and fondness for the animal world. I believe we can learn so much from our furry friends and definitely and thing or two about loyalty. I am here to guide you, to encourage you, high-five you and give you a swift kick in the ass if needed.
