“We partnered with Katie Myers’ to speak to 100 women at a Women’s Conference for Farmers Insurance. Our theme was ‘Building Relationships’ with yourself, your staff and your business. Katie brought her insurance knowledge and expertise to relate to all the staff and agents in the room. You could tell she had spent time prepping and understands the insurance and sales world. She knew exactly the role the staff were in compared to the agents and could relate through her stories, table exercises and chapters of the book she referenced during the presentation. Each participant had a copy of the book, Fortune is in the Failure, to utilize as a workbook throughout the presentation.
Katie was lively and very entertaining to keep the group engaged and on their toes for the 90-minute presentation. The group was using sticky notes, writing in their books, participating in group discussions and making notes to refer back to later. In 90 minutes, everyone was able to leave with actionable and key takeaways to implement in their personal relationships and businesses.
This is not a normal boring presentation, Katie did a great job getting the group involved and interacting from the beginning to keep them motivated and learning throughout. Katie and her book make the selling process simple and take away the fear by having a conversation with the females in the room that it is “just a conversation.” She gave a number of great ideas and tips for marketing and follow-up to remain connected and continue to build relationships in and outside of your business.
